Så här vid nya året 2709 och vår nationella festdag, NEWROZ, dagen för motstånd vid möte av tyranni och orättvisa regimer, en symbol för kamp och uppoffring; tar jag tillfället i akt att sända mina varmaste lyckönskningar till alla kollegor på företaget och era respektive familjer, varenda kurd under denna blåa himmel och alla våra kära partners och gäster i Kurdistan som ger oss sina tjänster på olika sätt. Jag hoppas det nya kurdiska året NEWROZ blir året för rekonstruktion och förnyelse i vårt vackra Kurdistan. Jag hoppas det nya året bringar ännu mer framgång till er alla kollegor på företaget och vårt folk. Att det för Kurdistan mot en ljusnande framtid och åtnjutande av obunden frihet. Att det blir året när drömmar går i uppfyllelse. Med en önskan om fred till alla i världen.

Newroz is the symbol of struggle and resistance for a nation deprived of freedom and peace. Newroz is the desire to create a New Day in a country by force divided, in darkness for years. Newroz is a page of world history forged and locked behind iron gates; a book written by sacred blood with pages scattered over every corner of a land where pure white snow begins to melt in March and the yellow bright sun of Zaroastra in spring turns the land of the Medes into a green carpet. Newroz is the fury of those massacred in Ararat, the cities of those in Dêrsim burned in closed caves, the sighs of mourning mothers and wives whose husbands and sons were hanged in Mahabad, the agony of the five thousand gassed in Halabja, the pain of two million refugees fleeing chemicals. Newroz is the aspiration of young men and women who every day die so others may live free. Newroz is the return of the sun, the defeat of the darkness, the hope for a better tomorrow in Kurdistan.
